Interport moved New Aircraft Tugs for Lima Airport! Interport coordinated specialized equipment to pick up the units at the Manufacturer, move them to one of our facilities where Interport’s experienced team loaded them into ocean containers for their voyage to Peru, which is one of the key markets for Interport.
Lima Airport is currently undergoing extensive infrastructure innovations in order to become a tier 1 Airport, already having invested $313 million dollars, and looking to invest another $800 million in the coming years. Since they began this project, they have already increased the amount of passengers served from 4 million to just 15 million since 2001, and they hope to accommodate 30 million passengers by 2030*. With such ambitious goals, Interport will no doubt see more cargo as the Lima Airport continues to grow.
