Interport Logistics, LLC announced today that it has reached an agreement to establish a partnership in Italy to serve the Italian market and the Eastern and Southern European Countries in the vicinity.
ÂThis Partnership should allow us to consolidate cargo to ship by Container to Miami, Los Angeles and other U.S. destinations and also to serve our Central, South American and Caribbean Customers with cargo from that region said Jose De Vivero, CEO of the company.
Italy and the surrounding region is the source of materials for many construction projects in the region as well as food and wine. ÂInterport has extensive activities with the Hardware and Construction Material industries and expects this partnership to enhance its service offerings to its existing customer base added De Vivero.
Additionally, this service will also allow Interport to move Air Cargo out of any Italian city to Miami, and Los Angeles, bolstering its presence in the Apparel Industry.
The Interport Italia Partnership, as this service will be called, counts with volume capacity exceeding 50,000 TEUs of annual purchasing, affording the best possible rates coming out of that region.
