INTERPORT WORKS FOR HAITI RELIEF
Nov. 15, 2016
A team member of the Interport family, Leticia Freitas, recently organized a donation campaign to aid those affected in Haiti after Hurricane Matthew. More than three full pallets containing medical supplies and donations such as clothing, money and other crucial items were sent to the nonprofit organization, The Promise of Hope. The organization delivered the items and money to the Orphanage Foyer Des Efants de Dieu in Port-au-Prince. Leticia stated that “the environment at Interport and the kindness of her teammates made it possible to help those in need, and that she looked forward to helping expand the culture of giving at the companyÂ.
Additionally, Interport in partnership with Seaboard Marine worked along with StyleSaves to deliver a twenty foot container of donations to Sohaderk, a non-profit organization that provides students with school supplies, uniforms, and clothing, reaching the need of several lives in Haiti. Interport is dedicated to making certain our team members participate in donations and makes a part of our culture to extend our hand to help others in need. We make it our duty to unite and work as a team to help make a difference.
